The Tallet Cafe

A modern and relaxing space offering a wide range of teas and coffee, as well as a breakfast and lunch menu, and of course, plenty of cake.

Tallet is an intriguing Devonshire South West regional name with a difference and a goodwill feeling associated with farming, food and drink producers.

Tallet is known as a place to store below a pitched roof space, usually used for hay. Here at Sam's Cider it is used as a place to gather items and to seek rest and relaxation — "Goodnight, I am off to the Tallet".

Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the café (except guide & assistance dogs). We do have a Cider Yard outside where dogs are welcome.

Two pressed 3oz beef patties, smokey baconnaise, in-house smoked paprika onion rings, Applewood smoked cheddar, mini gem lettuce, vine tomatoes & smoked garlic and tomato chutney.

Garden Vegetable Burger V

6oz crispy coated mixed bean & spinach burger spiced with cumin & parsley, emmental cheese, crispy leeks, mini gem lettuce, vine tomatoes & vegan herb mayo.

All our burgers are served in a toasted sourdough bun with seasoned chips & a dressed in-house salad.
