Sam’s Cider Festival 2026 Entry T&C's

Venue: Sam’s Cider, Winkleigh, Devon

By purchasing a ticket and/or entering the festival site, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Admission

  • Entry is by valid ticket only.
  • Tickets must be presented on arrival, either printed or electronic.
  • Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law or if the event is cancelled by the organiser.
  • The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person whose behaviour is considered unsafe, abusive, threatening, or likely to cause disruption.

2. Age Restrictions

  • Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
  • Alcohol will only be sold to persons aged 18 years or over.
  • Challenge 25 will be operated throughout the event.
  • Anyone who appears under the age of 25 may be asked to provide valid photo identification.

Accepted forms of ID are:

  • Passport
  • UK Driving Licence
  • PASS-approved Proof of Age Card

Anyone unable to produce acceptable ID will be refused the sale of alcohol.

3. Alcohol

  • No alcohol may be brought onto the festival site unless specifically authorised by the organiser.
  • Alcohol purchased on site must remain within the licensed area.
  • The organiser reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to anyone who appears intoxicated or is behaving irresponsibly.
  • Proxy purchasing of alcohol for persons under 18 is prohibited.

4. Bag Searches

For the safety and security of everyone attending, bag searches may be carried out as a condition of entry.

By entering the festival site, you agree that:

  • Bags and personal belongings may be searched by authorised security staff.
  • Anyone refusing a search may be refused entry without refund.
  • Prohibited items may be confiscated.
  • Illegal items may be handed to the police.

5. Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Offensive weapons
  • Fireworks, flares, or smoke devices
  • Glass bottles or glass containers
  • Personal alcohol
  • Nitrous oxide and associated equipment
  • Drones
  • Laser pens
  • Hazardous chemicals
  • Any item considered by the organiser to present a risk to safety

This list is not exhaustive.

6. Security

Security staff are present to ensure the safety of all attendees.

Attendees must comply with reasonable instructions given by:

  • Event Management
  • SIA Security Staff
  • Stewards
  • Emergency Services

Failure to do so may result in removal from the event.

7. Behaviour

The following will not be tolerated:

  • Violence
  • Aggressive behaviour
  • Threatening language
  • Harassment
  • Damage to property
  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Drug use
  • Excessive intoxication

Anyone engaging in such behaviour may be removed without refund.

8. Health & Safety

Please follow all safety signs and instructions.

Attendees should immediately report any concerns to a member of staff.

If you see any of the following, please notify a steward or member of security immediately:

  • Suspicious behaviour
  • An unattended item
  • A fire
  • Someone requiring medical assistance

9. Medical Assistance

Qualified first aid personnel are available throughout the event.

If you require assistance, please contact the nearest member of staff or steward.

10. Photography & Filming

Photography and filming will take place throughout the festival.

By attending, you acknowledge that images or video footage may be used by Sam’s Cider for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.

If you have concerns regarding photography, please speak to Event Management.

11. Weather

  • This is an outdoor event.
  • The festival will proceed in most weather conditions.
  • Please dress appropriately.
  • The organiser reserves the right to suspend or close the event where severe weather creates a safety risk.

12. Dogs

Only registered assistance dogs are permitted on the festival site unless otherwise authorised by the organiser.

13. Accessibility

Sam’s Cider is committed to making the festival accessible.

Please contact the organiser in advance if you require additional assistance.

14. Smoking & Vaping

Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor areas.

15. Parking

  • Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.
  • The organiser accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.

16. Personal Property

  • Attendees remain responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
  • The organiser accepts no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged property unless caused by negligence.

17. Event Changes

The organiser reserves the right to alter the following without prior notice where necessary:

  • Entertainment
  • Timings
  • Site layout
  • Facilities

18. Cancellation

Should the event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s reasonable control, refunds will be considered in accordance with applicable consumer law and the ticket provider’s terms.

19. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, the organiser shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from attendance at the festival.

20. Right to Refuse Entry

The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person without refund where it is considered necessary for the safety, security, or enjoyment of other attendees.

21. Acceptance

Entry to Sam’s Cider Festival constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
